Under certain well-recognized circumstances where no premeditation is involved, it is permissible for the Company to discharge an employee immediately without recourse to the Standing Committee. The employee still has the right to present their case to the Standing Committee for consideration and if deemed proper the Standing Committee may follow the usual grievance procedure.
