Notification of Tardiness. An employee must be ready and able to work at the time the employee is scheduled to begin work. In the event such employee is unable to report to work at the scheduled time, the employee must leave a message on the department’s answering devise as soon as practicable before the employee’s scheduled starting time.

Notification of Tardiness. Employees must report all absences or tardiness as early as possible, but no later than one hour after the employee’s scheduled start time, to the Highway Superintendent, or designee, giving the following information: name, reason for absence and length of time expected to be absent.
