Notification of Eligibility. The department chair shall notify faculty, in writing, of their promotion eligibility no later than January 15 (see Timetable in 18.§11for specific date) of the preceding academic year.

The Employer agrees to provide Workplace Safety Insurance Board for employees in the Bargaining Unit. Except as otherwise herein provided the foregoing payments shall be made by the Employer only so long as the employee is working under the terms of this Agreement. The Employer agrees to provide reasonable work for those members of the Bargaining Unit who have received Workplace Safety Insurance Board wage payments as a result of an injury incurred while performing work for the Employer, and are subsequently disqualified by the Workplace Safety Insurance Board from receiving further wage payments. The employee shall make written application to the Employer for such work within thirty days of official notice being received from the Workplace Safety Insurance Board that the employee is disqualified from further wage payments. The Employer must provide such work within thirty days following receipt of an employee’s written request. If an employee rejects the job of work made available by the Employer, the entire obligation of the Employer with reference to the within clause is terminated. It is agreed if the provided work is outside the Bargaining Unit, employees engaging in such work shall no longer be covered by the provisions of the within Contractual Agreement. The Employer agrees to use its best efforts to provide reasonable work which they are qualified to perform for members of the Bargaining Unit who have not reached their sixty-fifth birthday and who have been disqualified from receiving Long Term Salary-Wage Continuance Insurance Benefits. The Employer shall pay long service pay annually to every employee on the first regular pay day December of each year, based on continuous full-time service as of December of each year as follows:

Beginning on or about July 1, 2022, provided 312 the City Manager determines that the FRANCHISEE has met all the requirements of the 313 AGREEMENT, including but not limited to the Diversion Requirements set forth in Article 5, the 314 Record Keeping and Reporting Requirements set forth in Article 8, and the Contract Compliance 315 Review per Article 12, the CITY may offer the FRANCHISEE in writing one (1) or more extensions 316 to the term of this AGREEMENT for an amount of time to be determined by the CITY,but for no 317 more than an additional three (3) years total. FRANCHISEE shall provide written notice to the 318 CITY as to whether FRANCHISEE accepts or rejects the CITY’s offer within twenty (20) Work 319 Days of the date of the offer. If the FRANCHISEE accepts the offer, the FRANCHISEE shall also 320 submit the Extension Administration Fee payment described in Section 2.02.2 below within twenty 321 (20) Work Days of the offer. If FRANCHISEE fails to provide either the written notice or the 322 payment to the CITY within twenty (20) Work Days, the CITY’s offer of an extension shall be 323 deemed withdrawn.
Notification of Eligibility. Employees on promotional eligible lists for classes of work covered by this Agreement shall be notified of the duration of such lists at the time they are established and any extensions thereof.

Beginning on or about July 1, 2021, provided the Town Manager determines that the FRANCHISEE has met all the requirements of the AGREEMENT, including but not limited to the Diversion Requirements set forth in Article 5, the Record Keeping and Reporting Requirements set forth in Article 8, and the Contract Compliance Review per Article 12, the TOWN may offer the FRANCHISEE in writing one (1) or more extensions to the term of this AGREEMENT for an amount of time to be determined by the TOWN, but for no more than an additional three (3) years total. FRANCHISEE shall provide written notice to the TOWN as to whether FRANCHISEE accepts or rejects the TOWN’S offer within twenty (20) Work Days of the date of the offer. If the FRANCHISEE accepts the offer, the FRANCHISEE shall also submit the Extension Administration Fee payment described in Section 2.02.2 below within twenty (20) Work Days of the offer. If FRANCHISEE fails to provide either the written notice or the payment to the TOWN within twenty (20) Work Days, the TOWN’s offer of an extension shall be deemed withdrawn.
