Notification of Recall Notification of recall from layoff shall be sent by certified mail, return receipt requested, deliverable to addressee only, to the employee's last known address. The notice shall give the employee a minimum of ten (10) calendar days within which to respond after the notice of recall has been mailed. Employees who decline recall or who, in the absence of extenuating circumstances, fail to respond within the time set for return to work, shall be presumed to have resigned and their name shall be removed from the seniority and preferred eligibility list.
CERTIFICATION OF AGREEMENT In accordance with Division 4 of Part VIB of the Workplace Relations Act 1996, the Commission hereby certifies the attached written agreement in this matter. Notification of Claims In order that the indemnification provisions contained in this Section shall apply, upon the assertion of a claim for which either party may be required to indemnify the other, the party seeking indemnification shall promptly notify the other party of such assertion, and shall keep the other party advised with respect to all developments concerning such claim. The party who may be required to indemnify shall have the option to participate with the party seeking indemnification in the defense of such claim or to defend against said claim in its own name or in the name of the other party. The party seeking indemnification shall in no case confess any claim or make any compromise in any case in which the other party may be required to indemnify it except with the other party’s prior written consent.
Certification of Applicants The Employer will determine the number of applicants to be certified to the hiring official for consideration. All employees on the internal layoff list for the classification, and all promotional, transfer and voluntary demotion candidates, who have the skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position will be certified and will be considered by the Employer, prior to consideration of other candidates.
NOTIFICATION OF ADDRESS CHANGE You will notify Us promptly in writing with Your signature if You move or otherwise have a change of address. In the event We are unable to locate You, You agree to pay all fees associated with maintaining an invalid address in Our records and any costs and locator fees incurred in Our locating efforts.

Certification and Licensure If the Appointing Authority decides to implement a new licensure and/or certification requirement, the Appointing Authority shall, upon request of the Union, meet and confer on the subject of reimbursement of necessary expenses involved in obtaining the licensure or certification for current employees in the job classification.
