Notification for Sick Leave. Whenever an employee is unable to work due to circumstances described in Sections 18.5 and 18.6 herein, she shall notify the supervisor or other designated individual based on the following: Day Shift At least two (2) hours prior to the start of the shift Afternoon Shift At least two (2) hours prior to the start of the shift Midnight Shift At least two (2) hours prior to the start of the shift on each day of absence, unless a bona fide emergency would occur or unless the employee has made other reporting arrangements with her supervisor.

Notification for Sick Leave. The fire chief shall require an employee covered by this agreement to comply with the following notification rules:

  • Eligibility for Sick Leave Subject to the provisions herein, employees and officers (hereinafter called "employees") who are absent from their duties because of illness or disability are eligible for sick leave.

  • Sick Leave Notification Employees must contact their supervisor or assistant manager one (1) hour prior to the start of their assigned shift at the designated contact number to be placed on the sick board. Employees wishing to return to work must notify their supervisor or assistant manager before 4:00pm of the day before desiring to return to work.

  • Eligibility for Sick Leave with Pay Employees shall be eligible for sick leave with pay immediately upon accrual.

  • Application for Sabbatical Leave 16.K.2.a. The application for sabbatical leave shall include a statement of the relationship between the proposed sabbatical activity(ies) and the applicant’s current or prospective service to the College and of the benefit(s) that the District shall accrue because of the leave.

  • Notification of Absence To be entitled to payment in accordance with this clause the employee shall meet the following criteria;

  • Compensation for Holidays Worked a. With the exception of the provisions in Section C.2.b., below, an employee required to work on a holiday listed above shall be paid at the employee's regular straight-time rate of pay for the hours actually worked. In addition, an eligible employee shall receive either compensatory time off or holiday pay at the option of the University at the regular straight-time rate, including any shift differential.

  • Notification of Sick Leave Days The Board shall notify employees and the Bargaining Unit, when they have exhausted their 11 days allocation of sick leave at 100% of salary.

  • Notice of Absence If Tenant plans to leave the Property for 7 (seven) or more consecutive days or expects long, frequent or customary absences, Tenant must notify the Landlord in writing.
