Notice Required. ‌ An employee shall make every effort to give at least four (4) weeks’ notice prior to the commencement of leave pursuant to Article 18.01 and 18.02, and at least fourteen (14) days’ notice of their intention to return to work prior to the termination of the leave. Notwithstanding the above notice period, an adoptive parent will notify the Employer when they are advised of the date of the adoption placement. The employee shall furnish proof of adoption.
