Not to Exceed Limit. The total amount of this Subordinate Contract shall not exceed $800,000. The County shall have no obligation to pay any sum in excess of this amount unless authorized by written amendment signed by both Parties.

Not to Exceed Limit. The total amount of this Subordinate Contract shall not exceed Amendment No. 4 increased contract by $300,000 $500,000. The County shall have no obligation to pay any sum in excess of this amount unless authorized by written amendment signed by both Parties.
Not to Exceed Limit. The total dollar value of services that may be provided by Contractor under this Subordinate Contract shall not exceed $850,000. The County shall have no obligation to pay any sum in excess of that amount. The not to exceed limit may only be increased by a written amendment of this Subordinate Contract which is duly executed by the representatives of both Parties authorized to execute such documents.
Not to Exceed Limit. No authorization by the Awarding Authority for the performance by the Designer of Study/Schematic Design Phase Additional Services shall be valid unless it is made in writing and contains a "not to exceed" limit that may not be exceeded without further Approval by the Awarding Authority. Cost proposals for Study/Schematic Design Phase Additional Services shall include a similar "not to exceed” limits for any associated reimbursables. Designer acknowledges that such “not to exceed” limits are required by state finance laws.
