For 2b: the Staff Competency values reflect the sum of FTEs trained to provide each service type. These numbers are not a reflection of the services delivered, but rather the quantity of staff available to provide each service. If staff are trained to provide multiple service types, their entire FTE value is credited to each service type.

  • Shift Rotation Routine shift rotation is not an approach to staffing endorsed by the Employer. Except for emergency situations where it may be necessary to provide safe patient care, shift rotation will not be utilized without mutual consent. If such an occasion should ever occur, volunteers will be sought first. If no one volunteers, the Employer will rotate shifts on an inverse seniority basis until the staff vacancies are filled.

  • Safety Footwear 1. The State will provide employees in the classifications listed in Section 7 below, and employees who are currently required to wear safety footwear by Department Work Rules, an allowance of one hundred twenty dollars ($120.00) for replacement of safety footwear.
