Normal Duties. A Lead is an employee required to direct, assist and perform the same work as any other employee in his basic category that may be assigned to him and any other duties related to the job classification. The Lead shall assign work including rotating job assignments, give directions of proper use of equipment, work procedures and safety practices, ensure that personnel as well as equipment, are properly utilized, instruct employees on the job and discuss aspects of the operation with the customer. Temporary Lead will be selected from a pool of qualified candidates.
