Nonprofit Corporation. The Academy shall be organized and operated as a public school academy corporation organized under the Michigan Nonprofit Corporation Act, as amended, Act No. 162 of the Public Acts of 1982, being Sections 450.2101 to 450.3192 of the Michigan Compiled Laws. Notwithstanding any provision of the Michigan Nonprofit Corporation Act, as amended, the Academy shall not take any action inconsistent with the provisions of Part 6A of the Code or other Applicable Law.
Nonprofit Corporation. (a) The board by resolution may authorize the creation of a nonprofit corporation to assist and act for the district in implementing a project or providing a service authorized by this chapter.
Nonprofit Corporation. Member understands and acknowledges that the Corporation has been organized as a nonprofit corporation and that all amounts paid by or on behalf of Member to Corporation will constitute dues, fees, assessments or contributions related to membership in the Corporation and will not be deemed as an investment or purchase of any ownership interest in the Corporation.
Nonprofit Corporation. Member understands and acknowledges that the Alliance has been organized as a nonprofit corporation and that all amounts paid by or on behalf of Member to the Alliance will constitute dues, fees or assessments related to membership in the Alliance and will not be deemed as an investment or purchase of any ownership interest in the Alliance.
Nonprofit Corporation. The State Bar of Arizona is a 501 (c) (6) nonprofit corporation. Donations to a 501 (c) (6) organization are not tax deductible as a charitable contribution. Some payments, however, may be deductible as a business expense, please consult your tax advisor.
Nonprofit Corporation. The Michigan Constitution of 1963, Article 7, § 28, and the Urban Cooperation Act of 1967, Act No. 7 of the Public Acts of 1967, being MCL 124.501 et seq., permits a political subdivision to exercise jointly with any other political subdivision any power, privilege or authority which such political subdivisions share in common and which each might exercise separately; and The Local Communities have determined the Xxxxxxxx Avenue and Eight Mile Intersection (“Intersection”), which is a common border between the Local Communities, subject to the approval of the Michigan Department of Transportation’s (“MDOT”) jurisdiction and approval, can be improved by the development of physical improvements in the Intersection, by committing additional resources to the maintenance of improvements in the Intersection and providing additional resources to assist the homeless in the vicinity of the Intersection and further the public health, safety, and welfare, and promote efficient and effectiveness transportation in the area of the Intersection. The Eight Mile Boulevard Association (“8MBA”) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization focused on improving and facilitating the improvement of the Eight Mile corridor between Xxxxx and Oakland Counties, including the Intersection. 8MBA will provide project support as directed by the Local Communities via administrative, project management/coordination, reporting, and fiduciary services. This support is described in detail in Exhibits noted herein.
Nonprofit Corporation. Member understands and acknowledges that the Corporation has been organized as a nonprofit corporation.
Nonprofit Corporation. At all times during the terms of this Charter, Applicant must be organized as an Oregon nonprofit corporation. Applicant's articles of incorporation and bylaws may not be amended, modified, or repealed in any way that is inconsistent with the terms of this Charter.
