Nondiscrimination in Employment and Contracting. SUBRECIPIENT agrees to comply with the non-discrimination in employment and contracting opportunities laws, regulations, and executive orders referenced in 24 CFR 570.607, as revised by Executive Order 13279, including 24 XXX Xxxx 0, 00 XXX 570.602 and Section 504 of Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, Executive Order 11063. The applicable non-discrimination provisions in Section 109 of the Housing and Community Development Act (HCDA) are still applicable.

Nondiscrimination in Employment and Contracting. The SUBRECIPIENT and all employees and subcontractors shall comply with the non-discrimination in employment and contracting opportunities laws, regulations, Executive Order 13279 as amended, Executive Order 11246 as amended, and executive orders referenced in 24 CFR 570.607, as amended. The applicable non- discrimination provisions in Section 109 of the HCDA are still applicable. There will be no discrimination against any employee, applicant for employment, or persons served on account of creed, religion, race, color, sex, national origin, age, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, political ideology, ancestry, national origin, familial status, source of income, disability or the presence of any sensory, mental or physical handicap, unless based upon a bona fide occupational qualification in the performance of this AGREEMENT. Such action shall include, but not be limited to the following: employment, upgrading, demotion, or transfer, recruitment or recruitment advertising layoff or termination, rates of pay or other forms of compensation, and selection for training, including apprenticeship.

  • Nondiscrimination in Employment Consultant shall not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment on any basis prohibited by law. Contractor shall provide equal opportunity in all employment practices. Consultants shall ensure that their subcontractors comply with this program. Nothing in this Section shall be interpreted to hold a Consultant liable for any discriminatory practice of its subcontractors.

  • Nondiscrimination The Contractor, with regard to the work performed by it during the Contract, will not discriminate on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in the selection and retention of subcontractors, including procurements of materials and leases of equipment.   • Non Discrimination in Contracts Contractor shall comply with the provisions of Chapters 12B and 12C of the San Francisco Administrative Code. Contractor shall incorporate by reference in all subcontracts the provisions of Sections12B.2(a), 12B.2(c)-(k), and 12C.3 of the San Francisco Administrative Code and shall require all subcontractors to comply with such provisions. Contractor is subject to the enforcement and penalty provisions in Chapters 12B and 12C.

  • NON-DISCRIMINATION/HARASSMENT 3.01 Both the Company and the Union are committed to providing a workplace free of discrimination and harassment. Employees must not engage in discrimination or harassment because of prohibited ground contrary to the Ontario Human Rights Code (the “Code”).   • Nondiscrimination and Equal Opportunity Consultant shall not discriminate, on the basis of a person’s race, religion, color, national origin, age, physical or mental handicap or disability, medical condition, marital status, sex, or sexual orientation, against any employee, applicant for employment, subcontractor, bidder for a subcontract, or participant in, recipient of, or applicant for any services or programs provided by Consultant under this Agreement. Consultant shall comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, policies, rules, and requirements related to equal opportunity and nondiscrimination in employment, contracting, and the provision of any services that are the subject of this Agreement, including but not limited to the satisfaction of any positive obligations required of Consultant thereby. Consultant shall include the provisions of this Subsection in any subcontract approved by the City or this Agreement.
