Non – Fire Suppression. (a) Employees in non–fire suppression positions leaving the service of the Employer in less than twelve (12) months from the date of appointment shall be granted vacation pay in accordance with the "Employment Standards Act".

Non – Fire Suppression. Each support service, excluding Dispatch, shall establish a work period of at least 7, but not more than 28 days. The Department office personnel who are not on round-the-clock schedules will normally work a schedule of five (5) eight (8)-hour work days during a seven (7) day work period. A flexible or staggered work schedule averaging forty (40) hours per week and providing for more economical and efficient functioning of the support service may be established by the Division Chief with the approval of the Fire Chief or their designated representative, provided that such new schedule shall not provide for a work shift in excess of twelve (12) hours and provided further that all fire fighters affected by such change in work schedule shall continue to receive as many gross hours of sick leave, sick leave converted to vacation, and vacation as they would have had, had their schedules not been changed. If agreed to by the authorized representatives of the Union and the City, an alternative work schedule may be used during the term of this Agreement.

  • Fire Suppression Unless prevented by circumstances over which he, she or it has no control, the Purchaser shall place qualified employees, contractors and employees of contractors and all equipment at the disposal of any authorized State, County, or Federal Forest Officer for the purpose of fighting forest fires. Payment for such services shall be made at rates to be determined by the Forest Officer, which shall be within a range of payment rates shown in the Interagency Incident Business Management Handbook, NWCG Handbook 2. Any employees or equipment furnished by the Purchaser, contractors or employees of contractors, shall be relieved from fire fighting as soon as it is practicable for the Forest Officer to obtain other adequate labor or equipment.

  • Fire Suppression Costs Purchaser’s obliga- tions for cost of fire suppression vary according to three classifications of fires as follows:

  • Illumination The Engineer shall refer to TxDOT’s Highway Illumination Manual and other deemed necessary State approved manuals for design of continuous lighting and safety lighting for all conventional, high-mast, and underpass lighting. The Engineer shall include safety lighting as part of each design on each flashing beacon and traffic signal. The Engineer shall provide a preliminary layout for initial review and approval by the State. The Engineer shall prepare circuit wiring diagrams showing the number of luminaries on each circuit, electrical conductors, length of runs, service pole assemblies. Underpass lighting must be used on all structures within each project. The Engineer shall integrate existing illumination within the project limits into the proposed design. The Engineer shall coordinate with the State to determine the location of proposed high- mast, conventional, and underpass lighting.

  • Graffiti Franchisee shall require in all contracts (entered into after the Effective Date) with each of its customers of their Solid Waste Collection Services to maintain the Container, as defined in Chapter 9.04 of the City Code or as amended from time to time, free from graffiti. Franchisee’s Containers may display the name, address and/or phone number of the Franchisee, identification numbering or lettering assigned by the Franchisee, and any warnings, notices or instructions posted by Franchisee. If Franchisee’s customers do not remove graffiti from the Franchisee’s Containers, then Franchisee shall remove the graffiti and may bill its customer for the cost or replace the Container at the customer’s expense. If, after five days notice from the Director, the Franchisee or its customer has not removed the graffiti or replaced the Containers, then the City may cover or remove the graffiti or the Container.

  • Copper Subloops Sprint will make available access to copper subloops on an unbundled basis. A copper subloop is a portion of a Copper Loop, or Hybrid Loop, and is comprised entirely of copper wire or copper cable that acts as a transmission facility between any accessible terminal in Sprint’s outside plant, including inside wire owned or controlled by Sprint, and the end-user customer premises. A copper subloop can also include intermediate devices, such as repeaters, used to establish the transmission path. Copper subloops can be used by CLEC to provide voice-grade services as well as digital subscriber line services. Access to copper subloops is subject to the collocation provisions of this Agreement. Copper subloop consists of the distribution portion of the copper loop. Sprint is not obligated to offer feeder loop plant as a stand-alone UNE.

  • Fire Fighting Costs of operating and maintaining the fire-fighting equipments and personnel, if any.

  • Network Interconnection Architecture Each Party will plan, design, construct and maintain the facilities within their respective systems as are necessary and proper for the provision of traffic covered by this Agreement. These facilities include but are not limited to, a sufficient number of trunks to the point of interconnection with the tandem company, and sufficient interoffice and interexchange facilities and trunks between its own central offices to adequately handle traffic between all central offices within the service areas at P.01 grade of service or better. The provisioning and engineering of such services and facilities will comply with generally accepted industry methods and practices, and will observe the rules and regulations of the lawfully established tariffs applicable to the services provided.

  • Local Control Center, Metering and Telemetry The NTO shall operate, pursuant to ISO Tariffs, ISO Procedures, Reliability Rules and all other applicable reliability rules, standards and criteria on a twenty-four (24) hour basis, a suitable local control center(s) with all equipment and facilities reasonably required for the ISO to exercise ISO Operational Control over NTO Transmission Facilities Under ISO Operational Control, and for the NTO to fulfill its responsibilities under this Agreement. Operation of the NYS Power System is a cooperative effort coordinated by the ISO control center in conjunction with local control centers and will require the exchange of all reasonably necessary information. The NTO shall provide the ISO with Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (“SCADA”) information on facilities listed in Appendices A-1 and A-2 herein as well as on generation and merchant transmission resources interconnected to the NTO’s transmission facilities pursuant to the ISO OATT. The NTO shall provide metering data for its transmission facilities to the ISO, unless other parties are authorized by the appropriate regulatory authority to provide metering data. The NTO shall collect and submit to the ISO billing quality metering data and any other information for its transmission facilities required by the ISO for billing purposes. The NTO shall provide to the ISO the telemetry and other operating data from generation and merchant transmission resources interconnected to its transmission facilities that the ISO requires for the operation of the NYS Power System. The NTO will establish and maintain a strict code of conduct to prevent such information from reaching any unauthorized person or entity.

  • Traffic Measurement and Billing over Interconnection Trunks 6.1 For billing purposes, each Party shall pass Calling Party Number (CPN) information on at least ninety-five percent (95%) of calls carried over the Interconnection Trunks.
