Non-Classroom Faculty. The evaluatee will provide the evaluation committee with materials demonstrating assignment preparation and adherence to assignment description. The materials may include assignment expectations, samples of work, program assignments, cataloging records, assignment handouts/materials, and any other documentation that the evaluatee considers relevant. Whenever possible, this packet of material will be made available to committee members at a central location within a week prior to the site visitation.
Non-Classroom Faculty. 27.1 The normal work week shall consist of five (5) days, thirty (30) hours work per week.
Non-Classroom Faculty. The parties recognize that the professional commitment of Non-Classroom Faculty includes professional development, College service, and other such activities as are required to carry out their assignments. No two members of the TRC should observe the same activity, unless extenuating circumstances exist and the tenure coordinator grants approval. The observation length should be at least fifty (50) minutes and does not have to be consecutive in nature. o Classroom Faculty: An online observation will include at least one of the following two approaches below to be used during a week-long observation timeframe: ▪ The candidate must authorize student-level access to the evaluating TRC member. The TRC member may log into the online course and navigate the course. ▪ The candidate and evaluating TRC member may schedule a meeting when both parties can access the online course. During this meeting, the candidate may demonstrate and explain the online course to the evaluating TRC member. o Non-classroom Faculty: The candidate will consult their TRC regarding an appropriate activity to be observed. As appropriate to the selected activity, the candidate may need to obtain advance approval of a student for the evaluating TRC member to participate in the activity.

Hourly compensation shall be no less than the hourly wage for part-time faculty support staff or greater than Step 16 on the full- time faculty member’s column on the salary schedule.   • Classrooms The Board shall be responsible for maintaining a standard of cleanliness in each teacher’s classroom.

  • SPECIALIZED JOB CLASSES Where there is a particular specialized job class in which the pay rate is below the local market value assessment of that job class, the parties may use existing means under the collective agreement to adjust compensation for that job class.

  • Classroom Management The certificated classroom teacher demonstrates in his/her performance a competent level of knowledge and skill in organizing the physical and human elements in the educational setting.

  • Classroom Visitation To provide patrons of the District the opportunity to visit classrooms with the least interruption to the teaching process, the following guidelines are set forth:

  • TEACHING HOURS AND CLASS LOAD A. Teacher hours of duty shall be: Seven (7) hours and forty-five (45) minutes per day

  • School Nurses The location assignment (not hours) of School Nurses will be done in accordance with pupil demographics at the applicable work site(s) and the proximity of the work site(s), unless said assignment is revised pursuant to Section IV-E, F or O.

  • Teaching Assistants 1. All Teaching Assistants shall receive the same remuneration per base unit and the difference between the amount paid a Graduate Teaching Assistant and other Teaching Assistants is an associated scholarship. See XIII D. for appropriate compensation.

  • Classroom Interruptions Classroom interruptions shall be kept to a minimum. Principals shall establish schedules for the use of the intercom services in each school, including staff use. The schedule shall be posted. Deviations from the schedule shall be made only in an emergency or when other means of communication are not possible or feasible.
