  • Leave of Absence for Full-Time Union or Public Duties An employee who is elected or selected for a full-time position with the Union or anybody with which the Union is affiliated, or who is elected to public office, shall be granted leave of absence without pay and without loss of seniority.

  • LEAVE OF ABSENCE - UNION BUSINESS 11.08.01 Employees who have been elected or appointed to carry out business authorized by the Union on a full-time basis shall be granted a Leave of Absence for this purpose. The Union will advise the Company of the name(s) of such employee(s), the term of such leave, and the specific purpose. The Union shall repay the Company for the Company's costs incurred in Employee Benefit Plans and the employee(s) shall continue to pay their contributions directly to the Company.
