Common use of No Discipline Clause in Contracts

No Discipline. No employee shall be disciplined for refusal to work on a job or to operate any equipment that is unsafe. The Committee shall promptly investigate each refusal and, if it is able to make a decision on whether such refusal was warranted. If such action was warranted, the Committee will notify the employer of any unsafe condition(s), and the employer will undertake suitable corrective measures, and report in writing to the Committee of action he has taken. If such action was not warranted, the Committee will meet with the workers affected, and report to them the reasons for its decision.
