Common use of No Authority to Represent Clause in Contracts

No Authority to Represent. Nothing in this Agreement is to be construed as authorizing one Party to contract for or to incur any obligation on behalf of the other or to act as agent for the other. Nothing in this Agreement is to be construed as authorizing any Recipient or any Third Party to contract for or to incur any obligation on behalf of either Party or to act as agent for either Party and Nova Scotia will take reasonable steps to ensure that all Municipal Funding Agreements contain provisions to that effect.
