No Accrual of Personal Leave. Personal leave shall be taken in the period earned and shall not be carried forward, nor shall there be any payment for credited but unused personal leave hours upon separation of the employee from County service.

Accumulation of Personal Leave Unused personal leave accumulates from year to year to a maximum of 729.6 hours (or 768 hours if the employee normally works eight or more hours per day).
