Common use of New Jobs Clause in Contracts

New Jobs. A. The Employer shall notify the Union, in writing, when new jobs or revised job duties are required during the term of this Agreement. In the event they cannot be properly placed into an existing classification by mutual agreement between the parties, the Employer shall place into effect a new classification and rate of pay for the job in question, and shall designate the classification and pay rate as temporary. The Employer shall notify the Union in writing of any such temporary job which has been placed into effect upon the institution of such job.
