New Employee Salaries. New employee salaries will be set based on qualifications and experience but will not exceed Step 2 of the Salary Guide without written approval of the Chancellor. The Chancellor will provide a copy of the justification to the Union upon request. New employees must have related work experience or formal education above the high school level or certification in a work related program in order to receive a salary exceeding five percent (5%) of Step 1 of the Salary Guide.

New Employee Salaries. The superintendent determines the compensation of Employees new to the school corporation. Employees hired after the ratification of this contract through the 2020- 2021 school year will be hired based on Grid A. Employees hired for the 2021-2022 school year will be hired based on Grid B. The superintendent has the authority to exceed the range by up to $2,000 after discussion with the Organization President should the need arise to fill a position. Several factors will contribute to the determination of such a salary including education, work experience, licensure, prior salary, comparable salaries in the school corporation, supply of qualified applicants for the position or subject area and need of students in a specific school.   • New Employees The Employer agrees to acquaint new Employees with the fact that a Union Agreement is in effect, and with the requirement set out in the Article dealing with Union dues.

  • Sick Leave Incentive The City will institute a sick leave incentive based on the usage of the bargaining unit; further, the City will pay each person who qualifies during January of each year. The incentive will be calculated and monitored by the Personnel Department and will be based on the pay periods during a calendar year. The incentive shall be awarded only when the bargaining unit's average sick leave usage is less than the City average and the following conditions are met: When the bargaining unit's sick leave usage is greater than forty (40) hours but less than the City average, the City will pay each member using between zero (0) and sixteen (16) hours of sick leave, eight (8) hours pay and any member using more than sixteen (16) but equal to or less than twenty-four (24) hours, four (4) hours pay. When the bargaining unit's average sick leave usage is equal to or less than forty (40) hours, the City will pay each member who used between zero (0) and sixteen (16) hours, sixteen (16) hours of pay at their current hourly rate. Those members who used more than sixteen (16) but equal to or less than twenty-four (24) hours, will receive eight (8) hours of pay.

  • Executive Compensation Until such time as the Investor ceases to own any debt or equity securities of the Company acquired pursuant to this Agreement or the Warrant, the Company shall take all necessary action to ensure that its Benefit Plans with respect to its Senior Executive Officers comply in all respects with Section 111(b) of the EESA as implemented by any guidance or regulation thereunder that has been issued and is in effect as of the Closing Date, and shall not adopt any new Benefit Plan with respect to its Senior Executive Officers that does not comply therewith. “Senior Executive Officers” means the Company's "senior executive officers" as defined in subsection 111(b)(3) of the EESA and regulations issued thereunder, including the rules set forth in 31 C.F.R. Part 30.

  • Employee Compensation The wages, salaries and other compensation paid to employees who will be employed for the benefit of the Project, and to others who perform special services for the benefit of the Project, to the extent not otherwise paid through a Cash Management System, shall be paid by Owner from a Project Account pursuant to this Section 9.2.
