Upon reopening, the provisions of NRS 288.215 shall apply except that the parties hereby agree that either party may declare impasse at any time instead of after four meetings.

Upon reopening, the provisions of NRS 288.215 shall apply except that the parties hereby agree that either party may declare impasse at any time instead of after six (6) meetings. 42-2 PROCESS FOR PROMOTING TO SERGEANT 42-2-1 No less than fourteen (14) days the Human Resources Department, after having been advised that an open sergeant position(s) by POA, shall announce the existence of the available position(s) and provide instruction on how to apply for the available position(s). In the event no open sergeant positions are available, sergeant promotional testing will still take place in accordance with the below process in order to ensure an active list of qualified officers remains available. 42-2-2 The Human Resources Department will receive submitted applications and screen the applications to ensure they meet the minimum qualifications for the position. Those who meet the requirements for the position shall be placed in the Qualified Selection Pool. Qualified Applicants shall be notified of the date of the written examination no less than thirty (30) calendar days prior to the test date. 42-2-3 The written test will consist of 100 questions. The test material may consist of CCSDPD General Orders, Criminal Law, NRS Chapter 289, CCSD Regulations, and articles of the POA Contract. Each correct answer will be worth one point. Eighty
