Network Interface Device (NID). The GTE provided interface terminating GTE’s telecommunication network on the property where the customer’s End-User service is located at a point determined by GTE. The NID contains an FCC Part 68 registered xxxx from which inside wire may be connected to GTE’s network. The point of demarcation between the End-User's inside wiring and GTE's facilities.
