Neighborhood Meetings. A neighborhood meeting shall be required by the Director of Planning for any proposed Development Plan if the Director determines that it will have a significant neighborhood impact. If a neighborhood meeting is required, it shall be the responsibility of the applicant to establish the meeting and notify all property owners and homeowner associations, within 600 feet of the applicant’s property, if the neighboring property is a residential use or residen- tially zoned, and within 300 feet if the neighboring property is a nonresidential use or zoned as such. The applicant shall provide to the Planning Department a notarized mailing affidavit stating that the mailing notice has been completed and providing a list of the parties notified. The mailed notices must be postmarked no later than 21 calendar days in advance of the neighborhood meeting. It shall be the responsibility of the applicant to schedule, provide convenient and suitable accommodations for, and conduct the meeting. The purpose of this meeting shall be to inform neighbor- ing property owners of the details of the proposed Development Plan, how the developer intends to meet the standards contained in this CDP, and to receive public comment on the Development Plan. A member of planning staff of the appropriate jurisdiction shall attend the meeting.
Neighborhood Meetings. An additional method of notice may be to provide neighborhood meetings to discuss proposed development projects. The purpose of a neighborhood meeting is to allow neighborhood residents to communicate directly with the Town and the applicant regarding any issues, concerns or comments that they might have regarding the proposed development project. Neighborhood meetings shall be scheduled at the discretion of the Director of Planning. The applicant shall provide a place, date and a time of the neighborhood meeting. A representative of the Planning Department shall be present at the neighborhood meeting to gather information regarding the neighborhood concerns and issues that affect the applicant and the development proposal and also to answer any potential questions regarding the Town’s planning procedures, Comprehensive Plan, and Land Development Code.

  • Faculty Meetings Principals shall have the authority to schedule necessary faculty meetings; however, such meetings shall be as brief and well planned as possible. Such meetings shall be used for purposes that cannot be accomplished effectively through other means. Faculty meetings shall be scheduled in a manner that impacts teacher planning time to the least degree possible. If more than one faculty meeting is held in a month, the purpose of the meeting shall be announced to the faculty in advance.

  • TAC Meetings The goal of this subtask is for the TAC to provide strategic guidance for the project by participating in regular meetings, which may be held via teleconference. The Recipient shall: • Discuss the TAC meeting schedule with the CAM at the Kick-off meeting. Determine the number and location of meetings (in-person and via teleconference) in consultation with the CAM. • Prepare a TAC Meeting Schedule that will be presented to the TAC members during recruiting. Revise the schedule after the first TAC meeting to incorporate meeting comments. • Prepare a TAC Meeting Agenda and TAC Meeting Back-up Materials for each TAC meeting. • Organize and lead TAC meetings in accordance with the TAC Meeting Schedule. The TAC shall: • Help set the project team's goals and contribute to the development and evaluation of its statement of proposed objectives as the project evolves. • Provide a credible and objective sounding board on the wide range of technical and financial barriers and opportunities. • Help identify key areas where the project has a competitive advantage, value proposition, or strength upon which to build. • Advocate on behalf of the project in its effort to build partnerships, governmental support and relationships with a national spectrum of influential leaders. • Ask probing questions that insure a long-term perspective on decision-making and progress toward the project’s strategic goals. • Review and provide comments to proposed project performance metrics. • Review and provide comments to proposed project Draft Technology Transfer Plan.   • Conferences and Meetings Attend meetings with Contractor, such as preconstruction conferences, progress meetings, job conferences and other project-related meetings, and prepare and circulate copies of minutes thereof.

  • Review Meetings During the review meetings the Project Managers shall discuss progress made by the Contractor in the performance of this Contract. Each party shall provide a status report, as desired by a Project Manager, listing any problem or concern encountered since the last meeting. Records of such reports and other communications issued in writing during the course of Contract performance shall be maintained by each party.

  • Meetings Meetings of the Trustees shall be held from time to time upon the call of the Chairman, if any, or the President or any two Trustees. Regular meetings of the Trustees may be held without call or notice at a time and place fixed by the By-Laws or by resolution of the Trustees. Notice of any other meeting shall be given by the Secretary and shall be delivered to the Trustees orally not less than 24 hours, or in writing not less than 72 hours, before the meeting, but may be waived in writing by any Trustee either before or after such meeting. The attendance of a Trustee at a meeting shall constitute a waiver of notice of such meeting except where a Trustee attends a meeting for the express purpose of objecting to the transaction of any business on the ground that the meeting has not been properly called or convened. Any time there is more than one Trustee, a quorum for all meetings of the Trustees shall be one-third, but not less than two, of the Trustees. Unless provided otherwise in this Declaration and except as required under the 1940 Act, any action of the Trustees may be taken at a meeting by vote of a majority of the Trustees present (a quorum being present) or without a meeting by written consent of a majority of the Trustees. Any committee of the Trustees, including an executive committee, if any, may act with or without a meeting. A quorum for all meetings of any such committee shall be one-third, but not less than two, of the members thereof. Unless provided otherwise in this Declaration, any action of any such committee may be taken at a meeting by vote of a majority of the members present (a quorum being present) or without a meeting by written consent of all of the members. With respect to actions of the Trustees and any committee of the Trustees, Trustees who are Interested Persons in any action to be taken may be counted for quorum purposes under this Section and shall be entitled to vote to the extent not prohibited by the 1940 Act. All or any one or more Trustees may participate in a meeting of the Trustees or any committee thereof by means of a conference telephone or similar communications equipment by means of which all persons participating in the meeting can hear each other; participation in a meeting pursuant to any such communications system shall constitute presence in person at such meeting.

  • Job Meetings Conduct a preconstruction conference with each subcontractor after award of the subcontract and prior to the start of its portion of the Work. Hold weekly progress and coordination meetings, or more frequently if required by Work progress, to provide for the timely completion of the Work. In addition, Construction Contractor shall arrange and conduct regular weekly Project status meetings with Design Professional and Owner. Construction Contractor shall use the job site meetings as a tool for the preplanning of Work and enforcing schedules, and for establishing procedures, responsibilities, and identification of authority for all parties to clearly understand. During these meetings, Construction Contractor shall identify the party or parties responsible for following up on any problems, delay items or questions, and Construction Contractor shall note the action to be taken by such party or parties. Construction Contractor shall revisit each pending item at each subsequent meeting until resolution is achieved. Construction Contractor shall attempt to obtain from all present any problems or delaying event known to them for appropriate attention and resolution. Construction Contractor shall prepare written minutes of job meetings described in this Subsection and deliver copies of such written minutes to Owner and Design Professional within three (3) days of each meeting.
