NEGOTIATION PROCEDURES. A. It is contemplated that matters included in this Agreement and other areas of common concern to the parties shall be subject to negotiation by mutual agreement between them from time to time during the period of this Agreement. The parties undertake to cooperate in arranging meetings, selecting representatives for such discussions, furnishing necessary information, and otherwise constructively considering the resolving of any such matters.

NEGOTIATION PROCEDURES. A. At least sixty (60) days prior to the expiration of this Agreement, the parties will begin negotiations for a new Agreement covering wages, hours, terms and conditions of employment of employees covered by this Agreement.

The parties acknowledge that during the negotiations which resulted in this Agreement, each had the unlimited right and opportunity to make demands and proposals with respect to any subject or matter not removed by law from the area of collective bargaining, and that the understandings and agreements arrived at by the parties after the exercise of that right and opportunity are set forth in this Agreement. Therefore, the Board and the Association, for the life of this Agreement, each voluntarily and unqualifiedly waives the right and each agrees that the other shall not be obligated to bargain collectively with respect to any subject or matter not specifically referred to or covered in this Agreement, even though such subjects or matters may not have been within the knowledge or contemplation of either or both of the parties at the time that they negotiated or signed this Agreement.
NEGOTIATION PROCEDURES. A. The Association shall present its proposals for a successor Agreement to the Board of Trustees no earlier than the first regular Board meeting in March of the year in which this Agreement expires. The Association agrees to present to the Board, in writing, all of the major proposals or substantive changes for the contract agreement. A draft of the District’s written response or counter proposals will be presented to the Association in the board agenda packet no later than the first regularly scheduled Board of Trustee meeting after the Board’s public hearing on the Association’s contract proposal.
