Common use of National law Clause in Contracts

National law. The Contractor undertakes to respect all obligations arising from national law (e.g. taxation, employment, health and safety) which are relevant to his business. The Translation Centre cannot in any event be considered to be the employer of the Contractor and can thus not assume any of the obligations that an employer may have in civil, fiscal, or any other matters. The fulfilment of such obligations is the sole responsibility of the Contractor.
