– MUNICIPAL POLICING ALLOWANCE. Effective January 1, 2006, a Municipal Policing Allowance will be introduced as follows: After completing 8 years of continuous service – 2% of the base rate of a First Class Constable. After completing 17 years of continuous service – 4% of the base rate of a First Class Constable. After completing 23 years of continuous service – 6% of the base rate of a First Class Constable. Effective January 1, 2007: After completing 8 years of continuous service – 3% of the base rate of a First Class Constable. After completing 17 years of continuous service – 6% of the base rate of a First Class Constable. After completing 23 years of continuous service – 9% of the base rate of a First Class Constable. “Years of service” shall include all verified service as a sworn police officer for existing members. For any new member joining the Sault Ste. Xxxxx Police Service after July 31, 2007, “years of service” shall only include service as a sworn police officer, with the Xxxxx Xxx. Xxxxx Police Service. The Municipal Policing Allowance applies to all ranks represented by the Association. The Municipal Policing Allowance shall be included in a member’s base salary, for the purposes of pension contributions and premium calculations including overtime, shift premiums, call out, court time, crown interviews, statutory holidays, Xxxxx time, vacation, short term disability, WSIB, and special duty. It is not included in the base rate of a first class constable, as set out in the Schedule of Salaries attached hereto, for the purposes of calculating annual increases.

  • Administration Allowances In addition to the foregoing salary, there shall be paid additional allowances in accordance with the following schedule:

  • Meal Allowances Employees assigned to be in travel status between the employee's temporary or permanent work station and a field assignment shall be reimbursed for the actual cost of meals including a reasonable gratuity. Employees must meet the following conditions to be eligible for meal reimbursement:

  • Meal Allowance A shift worker who works a qualifying shift of eight hours or the rostered shift, whichever is the greater, and who is required to work more than one hour beyond the end of the shift (excluding any break for a meal) shall be paid a meal allowance of $7.95, or, at the option of the employer, be provided with a meal.

  • Cleaning Allowance The University will pay for the cleaning of Department issued uniforms and necessary work clothing requiring cleaning worn by employees assigned to non-uniformed positions.

  • Motor allowance Employees who in the service of their employer use their own vehicles at the request of their employer shall be paid per kilometre at the rate detailed in Appendix A.

  • Overtime Meal Allowances (a) An Employee who is required to work a minimum of two and one-half (2½) hours overtime before or after his/her scheduled hours of work, shall be provided with a meal or shall be reimbursed nine dollars ($9.00). A meal break of one-half (½) hour with pay shall be given at the overtime rate. This section shall not apply to an Employee who is on travel status which entitles him/her to claim for lodging and/or meals.

  • Mileage Allowance The state agrees to seek continued funding to provide for the payment of a mileage allowance for the use of privately owned vehicles for official travel at the rate provided in section 112.061(7)(d)1., F.S.

  • Transportation Allowance When an employee is required to travel to the Hospital or to return to her home as a result of reporting to or off work between the hours of hours, (other than reporting to or off work for her regular shift) or at any time while on standby, the Hospital will pay transportation costs either by taxi or by her own vehicle at the rate of thirty-five cents cents) per mile (to a maximum of fourteen dollars or such greater amount as the Hospital may in its discretion determine for each trip between the aforementioned hours. The employee will provide to the Hospital satisfactory proof of payment of such taxi fare.

  • REPORTING ALLOWANCE An employee who reports for work at an Employer's job site or shop, unless directed not to report the previous day by his Employer, and for whom no work is available due to reasons other than inclement weather or any other reason beyond the control of the Employer, shall receive a minimum of four (4) hours reporting time and shall remain at other work if requested to do so by the Xxxxxxx.

  • Overtime Meal Allowance ‌ An employee who works two and one-half hours of overtime immediately before or following his/her scheduled hours of work shall receive a meal allowance of seven dollars. One-half hour with pay shall be allowed the employee in order that he/she may take a meal break either at or adjacent to his/her place of work.
