Municipal and School Board Offices. Employees may seek election to municipal and school board offices provided that the duties of the municipal and school board office other than regular council or board meetings do not impinge on normal working hours as an employee of the Legal Services Society of British Columbia.
Municipal and School Board Offices. Employees may seek election to municipal and school board offices, provided that: the duties of the municipal or school board office other than regular council or board meetings do not impinge on normal working hours as a Public Service employee; there is no conflict of interest between the duties of the municipal or school board office and the duties of the Public Service position. Where Municipal Council or school board meetings are held during the employee's normal working hours, the Employer shall, upon written request, grant leave of absence without pay to attend such meetings. Before employees may receive remuneration in municipal or school board offices, they must receive approval of their Deputy Minister or designate. Federal and Provincial Offices There are no restrictions other than the oath of office on employees engaging in political activities on their own time as campaign workers. If an employee is nominated as a candidate for election, the employee shall be granted leave of absence without pay to engage in the election campaign. If elected, the employee shall, upon written request, be granted leave of absence without pay for a maximum period of five years. If not elected, the employee shall be allowed to return to the employee's former position. Travel Expense Advance The Employer may provide a refundable advance for travel expenses for employees who do not to obtain a corporate card and are required to travel. This advance shall be sufficient for the travelling involved. When required to travel on Employer business outside of British Columbia, the employee shall be entitled to an appropriate temporary advance. The referred to in (a) and above shall be accounted for or repaid upon return to headquarters.

The Registered Office and/or Resident Agent may be changed from time to time. Any such change shall be made in accordance with the Statutes, or, if different from the Statutes, in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement. If the Resident Agent shall ever resign, the Company shall promptly appoint a successor agent.
