Multi-Source Recruitment and Selection System. If a promotion is to be made using the State’s multi-source recruitment and selection system, selection shall be made from among employees within the same seniority unit in which the vacancy exists, whose names are in the applicant pool in the order of State Seniority, provided the senior employee’s ability and capacity to perform the job are relatively equal to that of other applicants in the applicant pool.

Correction Officer 2 employees serving a probationary period will not be considered for promotion to Corrections Officer 3 until successful completion of their probationary period.
