Multi Objective methods Sample Clauses

Multi Objective methods. ‌ For those simulation models that have more than a single objective value and one of the closed loop DSE methods has been employed then it is necessary to use one of the objective methods to provide a means to perform any tradeoff between the individual objectives and determine which are the best designs. There are two types of method presented here, the two ranking methods order the design results by their ability to meet a specific goal, while the Pareto method will present a range of optimal tradeoffs. While each of the methods is quite different in how they perform their required computations, they all make the same assumption that the simulations can provide a single value for each objective.
