Motorcycle Duty. Effective December 18, 1994, supervisors assigned by the Police Chief to motorcycle duty shall receive compensation in addition to their regular rate of pay. Such compensation shall be made biweekly at a rate of forty-two cents ($.42) per hour for all hours earned. Member must be designated in advance by the Police Chief or his/her designee.
Motorcycle Duty. In recognition of the special skills and abilities required, employees assigned to motorcycle duty shall receive one hundred twenty dollars ($120.00) per biweekly pay period. An employee who is assigned to motorcycle duty on a part-time basis shall receive fifteen dollars ($15.00) for each day a motorcycle is ridden.
Motorcycle Duty. 1. Police Officers assigned to motorcycle duty shall receive eight (8) range points (e.g., sixteen [16] half-points) as assignment pay above their base salary rate for the duration of the assignment.
Motorcycle Duty. For those employees assigned to motorcycles, they shall receive an additional $150 per month above base salary for those months in which they perform at least 60% of their hours worked per month while on the motorcycles.
Motorcycle Duty. Any employee of the Police Department of the City of Santa Xxxxx who is assigned to motorcycle duty shall be compensated at his/her regular salary plus an additional 5% for each day while on such assignment and while actually performing such duty. Such pay will be calculated on the same basis as other premium pay, e.g., SRT pay, etc. It shall be the responsibility of the Department timekeeper to mark the bi-weekly payroll sheets for the time spent in the motorcycle duty to indicate the amount of time spent performing this particular type of duty.
Motorcycle Duty. Effective the last full pay period of June 2001 and i In recognition of the special skills and abilities required, employees assigned to motorcycle duty shall receive an additional $80.00 per biweekly pay period. Employees who work motorcycle duties on a part-time basis shall receive $10.00 motorcycle pay for each day a motorcycle is ridden.
Motorcycle Duty. Effective June 30, 2008, employees authorized and regularly assigned by the Sheriff to motorcycle duty shall receive an allowance of $75.00 biweekly, provided the employee has successfully completed the required training and the employee has been assigned motorcycle duty for a period of one year. Qualifying part-time employees shall receive a pro-rated allowance based on their part-time percentage. The biweekly allowance shall be separate from basic salary but payable at the same time as regular compensation when the Sheriff has designated in advance and in writing to the Human Resources Director those employees authorized and assigned. Notwithstanding the provisions of this section, an employee may receive only one premium pay allowance (e.g., destructive devices, K-9 handler, special enforcement, dive team or aviation bureau) at any time.
Motorcycle Duty. Effective the first full pay period following July 1, 2003, in recognition of the special skills and abilities required, employees assigned to motorcycle duty shall receive one hundred thirty-five dollars ($135.00) per biweekly pay period. An employee who is assigned to motorcycle duty on a part-time basis shall receive sixteen dollars and eighty-eight cents ($16.88) for each day a motorcycle is ridden.
Motorcycle Duty. Upon approval of the Police Chief, employees assigned to motorcycle duty will be provided one pair of boots, two pairs of trousers, and one leather jacket. The motorcycle apparel shall conform to Police Department standards established by the Police Chief. Replacement of damaged or used apparel shall be at the discretion of the Police Chief. Employees shall either return the leather jackets at the completion of the motorcycle assignment or purchase the jacket issued to the employee from the City at a cost of $250. Duration of motorcycle duty assignments shall be at the discretion of the Police Chief.
