MONITORING PROGRAMS. 37. Title 27 requires that the Dischargers maintain a groundwater-monitoring program designed to detect the presence of waste constituents in groundwater outside of the waste management unit (WMU). The required monitoring is included in the Discharge Monitoring Program (Attachment A) and consists of a list of constituents of concern (COCs), sampling frequency, approved analytical methods, reporting requirements, the point of compliance, and an approved evaluation method to determine compliance consistent with Title 27.
MONITORING PROGRAMS. Baffinland has developed an environmental and socio-economic monitoring program for the Project to address regulatory requirements (e.g., Project Certificate and license conditions), as well as guidance from Project working groups. Other management plans (e.g., railway operation and management plan) include inspections and compliance monitoring and other monitoring programs and will be updated with respect to the adaptive management response framework. Additional information regarding the monitoring plans above are provided in Section 3.
MONITORING PROGRAMS. In consultation with the Department, the Corporation shall during the Term develop, maintain and implement a Recycled Water sampling and monitoring program for GWRT.
MONITORING PROGRAMS. The Department may develop and undertake monitoring programs itself in special circumstances.
MONITORING PROGRAMS. The Corporation shall during the Term, develop, maintain and implement an appropriate sampling and monitoring program for wastewater quality as stipulated within the Process Control Tables for each of its wastewater and groundwater replenishment schemes.
MONITORING PROGRAMS. G.2.1 From and after the issuance of a construction permit by the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission the Operating Agent shall assume responsibility for the conduct of all on-site and off‑site environmental monitoring programs, including those continuing environmental monitoring programs initiated by the Project Manager, relevant to the protection of the environment, the implementation of Section 29 of the Participation Agreement or as required by law.
MONITORING PROGRAMS. Effective monitoring of the progress of programs and the individual projects is essential to determine whether program objectives are being achieved, funds are being spent for their intended purpose, and problems are detected early during implementation of the Agreement, thus providing a basis for refinement. The Agreement requires that the programs and the individual projects be properly managed through the preparation of annual work plans, financial and management information reports, the conduct of regular meetings, a review of the Agreement strategy, programming and budget, and the inspection and audit of projects. Our review of this area indicated the following:
