Modified Work Schedule. (a) The hours of work for employees working in the Information Management (IM) branch may vary from those in Article 31.01, 31.02 and 31.03.

Modified Work Schedule. Employees assigned to the Training Division may work a modified work schedule for the purposes of conducting scheduled training events, subject to their supervisor's approval. Employees assigned to the Training Division may also be called upon to respond to emergency situations as identified in their job description on an "as available or requested basis." When assigned to the Training Division employees will remain eligible to serve as line personnel for purposes of covering vacation or other relief, subject to their supervisor's approval.

Reasons for Denial Employee requests for modified work schedules to accommodate educational or training programs which equip employees for more effective work within the agency will be denied only when the modification would significantly interfere with the accomplishment of the work required to be performed.
Modified Work Schedule. 18.10 The parties (the University and the Union) may institute, on a trial basis, a modified work schedule in a limited number of areas where it is agreed that such a schedule may be of mutual benefit. Such trial period shall not be subject to the limitations of Article 18 (18.01 and 18.02). Training on regular work days will not occur more than 2 hours prior to or 2 hours after the operator’s shift.

Modified Work Schedule. 9.3.1 This agreement is required for work performed outside of core hours as listed in Article 9.2 (a) to (d). Notwithstanding Article 9.1.1, the Employer, in consultation with the Union, may modify employee hours of work in the following fashion by modifying:

As long as the schedule meets the operational and service needs of the City, no employee will be denied a modified work schedule. Modified work schedules may be modified, revised, and/or eliminated consistent with Section 6.4 below. In the event the City grants a modified work schedule, the City reserves the right to modify the workweek.
