Modified Work Schedule. (a) The hours of work for employees working in the Information Management (IM) branch may vary from those in Article 31.01, 31.02 and 31.03.
Modified Work Schedule. Employees assigned to the Training Division may work a modified work schedule for the purposes of conducting scheduled training events, subject to their supervisor's approval. Employees assigned to the Training Division may also be called upon to respond to emergency situations as identified in their job description on an "as available or requested basis." When assigned to the Training Division employees will remain eligible to serve as line personnel for purposes of covering vacation or other relief, subject to their supervisor's approval.
Modified Work Schedule. A. Reasons for Denial Employee requests for modified work schedules to accommodate educational or training programs which equip employees for more effective work within the agency will be denied only when the modification would significantly interfere with the accomplishment of the work required to be performed.
Modified Work Schedule. 18.10 The parties (the University and the Union) may institute, on a trial basis, a modified work schedule in a limited number of areas where it is agreed that such a schedule may be of mutual benefit. Such trial period shall not be subject to the limitations of Article 18 (18.01 and 18.02). All modified work schedule proposals endorsed by management shall be forwarded to the Associate Vice President of Human Resources for review and subsequent consultation with the Union. Where, after a trial period in an area, it has been agreed between the parties that a modified work schedule has produced and will likely continue to produce mutual benefits, such schedule may be instituted in that area on terms approved by the parties and shall not be subject to the limitations of Article 18 (18.01 and 18.02).
Modified Work Schedule. Any modification to weekend/holiday schedules will be handled in accordance with Appendix B and Appendix F of this CBA.
Modified Work Schedule. The Motor Coach Operator shall be placed on a modified work schedule, with management establishing the modified work schedule, including days off, for the following situations, with the Motor Coach Operator being paid for actual hours worked at the applicable hourly rate of pay: All scheduled required training Jury duty (covered by Section 4.06) Special assignments which are agreed to by the Motor Coach Operator The Extra Board will be assigned to fill-in behind a Motor Coach Operator who has been placed on a modified work schedule. When a Motor Coach Operator is scheduled for training that is less than 8 hours, every attempt will be made to return the operator to his/her regularly scheduled run, time permitting. When returning the operator to his/her regularly scheduled run is not possible, the operator will be given a “shine” assignment. Every attempt will be made to schedule training during the operators’ normal work hours. When this is not possible, operators will be given 72 hours’ notice. Training on regular work days will not occur more than 2 hours prior to or 2 hours after the operator’s shift.
Modified Work Schedule. Please indicate work hours in the table below. Flexible work options are dependent on the requirements of an employee’s current position, are subject to supervisor approval, and must account for a full forty (40) hour work week. Any changes to this work schedule, including leave taken or overtime worked, must be approved in advance by the employee’s supervisor. Modified Work Schedule. 9.3.1 This agreement is required for work performed outside of core hours as listed in Article 9.2 (a) to (d). Notwithstanding Article 9.1.1, the Employer, in consultation with the Union, may modify employee hours of work in the following fashion by modifying:
Modified Work Schedule. An Employee may work greater than forty (40) hours in a week provided that the average of hours worked over a period of two weeks or more does not exceed forty (40) hours a week. Schedules may include: continental shift, averaging over two (2) weeks; four (4) days on four (4) days off, averaging over eight
Modified Work Schedule. A modified work schedule is a schedule which varies from an eight (8) hour work day and/or varies in consecutive days worked. An employee may apply in writing for authorization to work a modified work schedule, for example, four/ten (4/10) hour days. As long as the schedule meets the operational and service needs of the City, no employee will be denied a modified work schedule. Modified work schedules may be modified, revised, and/or eliminated consistent with Section 6.4 below. In the event the City grants a modified work schedule, the City reserves the right to modify the workweek.
