Modified Work. In order to facilitate a safe return to work, in compliance with the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act, the Ontario Human Rights Code, the collective agreement and other applicable legislation, the parties will endeavour to provide fair and consistent practices to accommodate employees who are ill, injured or permanently disabled. (The following clause related to modified work agreements will be incorporated into all collective agreements)
Modified Work. Where the Hospital and the Union agree, the Hospital may implement modified/rehabilitative work programs in order to assist employees returning to work following illness or injury. To facilitate these programs, it is understood and agreed that provisions of the collective agreement may, where agreed, be varied. The specific terms of the program will be signed by the Hospital and the Union.
Modified Work. (a) The Employer, the Union and any affected employee have obligations to participate in developing a modified work plan based on medical limitations to ensure the earliest possible safe return to work following a workplace injury, accident or other medical problem giving rise to a need for accommodation. Employees with a medical problem giving rise to a need for accommodation must disclose that need, provide medical evidence and request accommodation at the earliest possible time.
Modified Work. N-1 (a) The Hospital will notify the Bargaining Unit President of the names of all nurses who go off work due to a work related injury/illness, for which there is a WSIB claim on file, or when a nurse goes on LTD. The Hospital shall provide to the Union at the beginning of each month a list of all employees currently on modified work programs.

Modified Work. (a) The Hospital and the Union both recognize their obligations in facilitating the early and safe return to work of disabled employees. The Hospital and the Union agree that ongoing and timely communication by all participants in this process is essential to the success of the process.
Modified Work. (a) The Employer will notify the Local Nurses' Association of the names of all nurses off work due to work related injury (whether or not the nurses are in receipt of WSIB Benefits) and those on LTD by the 15th of each month.

(a) The Employer will notify the Bargaining Unit President of the names of all nurses who go off work as a result of a work related injury (whether or not the nurses are in receipt of WSIB Benefits) or who begin receiving LTD and will again notify the Bargaining Unit President when these Nurses return to work.
Modified Work. J.1 The Employer will notify the President of the Bargaining Unit of the names of all Nurses who go off work due to a work related injury or when a Nurse goes on Long Term Disability.
