Common use of MODIFICATION OF CONTRACT Clause in Contracts

MODIFICATION OF CONTRACT. Notwithstanding any of the provisions of this contract, the parties may hereafter, by mutual consent expressed in writing, agree to modifications thereof, additions thereto, or terminations thereof, which are not forbidden by law. Such written modifications or additions to this contract shall not be effective until signed and acknowledged by the State and Concessionaire and approved in writing by the Department of General Services and the Attorney General of the State of California. The State shall have the right to grant reasonable extensions of time to Concessionaire for any purpose or for the performance of any obligation of Concessionaire hereunder.
