MODE OF MEASUREMENT. The contract rate shall be for the actual cubical content treated between edge of parapet walls. The separate rate shall be paid for vertical treatment to parapet on Sq. meter area basis. In case, extra thickness of coba is require to be provided to achieve the required gradient, the same shall be provided only if be directed. The work shall however, be executed as directed above except final finishing of the top surface. The rate for providing extra thickness as above shall be paid per cubic meter for this extra thickness ANNEXURE V
MODE OF MEASUREMENT. 1. Unless otherwise stated, all pipes shall be measured net, length as laid and measured overall fittings, such as bends, junctions, etc., and given in running meters. The length shall be taken along the center line of the pipes and fittings.

MODE OF MEASUREMENT a) The mode of measurement for this contract shall be on item rate basis and shall include all quantities specified in the Schedule of Quantities of this tender/ contract. It shall be further deemed that all variations and deviations if specifically agreed to in writing shall also form part of this tender/ contract and shall be subject to measurements. All payments released to the Contractor shall be subject to verification of quantities on the basis of mode of measurements herein stated.
MODE OF MEASUREMENT. All drain pipes shall be measured in linear lengths along the center line of the drainage line laid. Deductions shall be made for xxxxxxxx and fitting lengths etc. The rate include all work as specified in the respective items. Stoneware or cast iron gully traps, bends, junctions, sewer traps etc. shall be measured in numbers as in above. All cast iron spigot and socked or flanged pipes for water supply, shall be measured in linear lengths along the center line completed. Deductions shall be made for lengths of specials and fitting. The rate shall include lead caulking or nut and bolt, rubber gasket, joints etc. complete as specified in the respective items. o Same rate shall be applicable for pipes of same size and material laid in building at any level or floor. Cast iron fitting such as spigot and socket fitting, fitting like tees, bends, tapers, cross etc., shall be measured in numbers and paid for separately. The rock cutting shall be measured in xx.xx. of the stacks of excavated rock. The deduction for voids being 50% of the stack measurement only the rock which is removed by chiselling or blasting etc., shall be measured for this item of work. Boulders shall not be considered as a rock. The excavated rock will become the owners property. All cast iron pipes, such as soil, waste, vent and rainwater shall be measured in linear lengths along the center line, to nearest centimeter as completed including length over fittings. The rates shall include all joints and clamps etc. as specified in the respective items. Length over case iron or any other material fittings, like specials, (T.Y short/long bend) for soil, waste vent or rain water pipes like single or double ways of various degrees bends cowls etc., shall be measured in meters, as extra over in the item for 12.6 above. These are paid separately whenever any separate item for specials is provided in the Schedule of Quantity. Plain cement concrete for supports and for encasement or bedding etc. shall be measured as specified in the respective items in the Schedule of Quantities. Lead pipes shall be measured in linear length and shall be of weights as per specifications of the respective item in installation work. The rates shall include making of necessary offsets and bends, etc. All sanitary fittings and fixtures shall be measured in numbers and the rate shall include all the work specified and described under item in the Schedule of Quantities.
