Common use of MIXED FUNCTIONS Clause in Contracts

MIXED FUNCTIONS. Where duties performed under 3.1 attract different wage rates, the employee must be paid for the day, at the least, the highest rate for the work performed. When employed intermittently in this fashion there will be no reduction in wage rates where the employee performs work attracting a lesser rate. Work performed under this sub clause would generally be incidental to an employee's employment classification.
