BID AND RELATED COSTS By submission of a bid, the Bidder agrees that any and all costs associated with the preparation of the bid will be the sole responsibility of the Bidder. The Bidder also agrees that the County shall bear no responsibility for any costs associated with the preparation of the bid including but not limited to any administrative or judicial proceedings resulting from the solicitation process.

Political Activity Prohibited a. None of the funds, materials, property or services provided directly or indirectly under this contract shall be used for partisan political activity.

REIMBURSEMENT OF FEES AND COSTS The Parties acknowledge that Xxxxxxxx and his counsel offered to reach preliminary agreement on the material terms of this dispute before reaching terms on the amount of fees and costs to be reimbursed to them. The Parties thereafter reached an accord on the compensation due to Xxxxxxxx and his counsel under general contract principles and the private attorney general doctrine and principles codified at California Code of Civil Procedure § 1021.5, for all work performed through the mutual execution of this agreement.
