Misuse of Leave. 16 A unit member may take a leave of absence only under the provisions specified in this section.

Misuse of Leave. 16 34 A unit member may take a leave of absence only under the provisions specified in 35 this section. Should a unit member be absent for reasons other than those specified, 36 without permission of the unit member’s immediate supervisor, such unit member 37 shall not be paid for the period of absence. Leaves of absence shall not be used for 38 strikes, walkouts, or other conditions related to employment dissatisfaction.
