Client understands that its misuse of or improper request for information may have a direct impact upon Xxxxx and may cause it to be unable to obtain information for any of its clients resulting in substantial damages for which Client would be liable.

The Requesting Party will notify the Providing Agency within 24 hours following the determination that information has been compromised by any unauthorized access, distribution, use, modification, or disclosure. The statement to the Providing Agency will provide the date and the number of records affected by any unauthorized access, distribution, use, modification, or disclosure of information. The statement will also include remedies that have been put in place to prevent future occurrence.

Misuse of Information. The ICHP shall not misuse, sell, or otherwise exploit the information and documents provided by KARANDS BUSINESS SERVICES. Any unauthorized use or disclosure of such information may result in legal consequences, termination of this Agreement, and other appropriate actions.

Misuse of Information. Business Associate shall use reasonable and appropriate safeguards to prevent the use or disclosure of PHI other than pursuant to the terms and conditions of this Agreement. Further, Business Associate shall implement administrative, physical, and technical safeguards that reasonably and appropriately protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of any electronic PHI (ePHI) that it creates, receives, maintains, or transmits on behalf of Covered Entity as applicable, and in accordance with the requirements of the Privacy and Security Standards and all other applicable law.
