  • MINORITY AND WOMEN BUSINESS ENTERPRISES The City hereby gives notice that Minority and Women Business Enterprises will be afforded equal opportunities to submit bids in for this contract and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, ethnicity, color, sex, religion or national origin in awarding the contract.   • Minority and Women’s Business Enterprises Compliance Award of this Contract was based, in part, on the Minority and/or Women’s Business Enterprise (“MBE” and/or “WBE”) participation plan as detailed in the Minority and Women’s Business Enterprises Subcontractor Commitment Form, commonly referred to as “Attachment A” in the procurement documentation and incorporated by reference herein. Therefore, any changes to this information during the Contract term must be approved by MWBE Compliance and may require an amendment. It is the State’s expectation that the Contractor will meet the subcontractor commitments during the Contract term. Failure to provide a copy of any subcontractor agreement may be deemed a violation of the rules governing MBE/WBE procurement and may result in sanctions allowable under 25 IAC 5-7-8. Requests for changes must be submitted to XXXXXxxxxxxxxx@xxxx.XX.xxx for review and approval before changing the participation plan submitted in connection with this Contract. The Contractor shall report payments made to Division certified subcontractors under this Contract on a monthly basis using Pay Audit. The Contractor shall notify subcontractors that they must confirm payments received from the Contractor in Pay Audit. The Pay Audit system can be accessed on the IDOA webpage at: xxx.xx.xxx/xxxx/xxxx/xxxxxxxx.xxx. The Contractor may also be required to report Division certified subcontractor payments directly to the Division, as reasonably requested and in the format required by the Division. The Contractor’s failure to comply with the provisions in this clause may be considered a material breach of the Contract.

  • Seniority and Service (The following clauses will appear in all collective agreements replacing any provisions related to Probationary Period, Seniority Lists, Manner of Expressing Part-time Seniority, Full-Time definition of Seniority, Transfer of Seniority, Effect of Absence, Application of Seniority on Layoff and Recall, Layoff and Recall Rights for Part-time and Full-time Employees, Retention and Accumulation of Seniority on Transfer Outside the Bargaining Unit, and Loss of Seniority and Service, and Deemed Termination that existed in the Hospital's expiring collective agreement:)

  • SENIORITY AND LAYOFF Section 1. Seniority means the length of continuous service in a bargaining unit position since the last date of hire.

  • Utilization of Minority Business Enterprises The Contractor shall perform under this Contract in accordance with 45 C.F.R. Part 74; and, as applicable, C.G.S. §§ 4a-60 to 4a-60a and 4a-60g to carry out this policy in the award of any subcontracts.

  • Minority Business Enterprise The Recipient shall comply with the minority business requirements pursuant to Section 164.07(A) of the Revised Code and rule 164-1-32 of the Administrative Code when making direct purchases of equipment, materials or supplies.

  • Women- and Minority-Owned Businesses (W/MBE) The Subrecipient will use its best efforts to afford small businesses, minority business enterprises, and women’s business enterprises the maximum practicable opportunity to participate in the performance of this contract. As used in this cataract, the terms “small business” means a business that meets the criteria set forth in section 3(a) of the Small Business Act, as amended (15 U.S.C. 632), and “minority and women’s business enterprise” means a business at lease fifty-one (51) percent owned and controlled by minority group members or women. For the purpose of this definition, “minority group members” are Afro- Americans, Spanish-speaking, Spanish surnamed or Spanish-heritage Americans, Asian-Americans and American Indians. The Subrecipient may rely on written representation by businesses regarding their status as minority and female business enterprises in lieu of an independent investigation.

  • – SENIORITY AND JOB SECURITY 9.01 (a) Seniority and service for full-time employees shall be defined as the length of continuous service with the Home since the date of last hire, subject to Article 9.03-9.05, 9.17, 9.18 and 11.10 and any other related provision of the Collective Agreement.
