Common use of Minimum wages Clause in Contracts

Minimum wages. Except for those employees whose minimum wage is required to be fixed pursuant to Section 220 of the Labor Law of the State of New York, all persons employed by the Contractor in the performance of this Agreement shall be paid, without subsequent deduction or rebate, unless expressly authorized by law, not less than the minimum wage as prescribed by law. Any breach or violation of the foregoing shall be deemed a breach or violation of a material provision of this Agreement.
