Common use of Minimum Call-Back Time Clause in Contracts

Minimum Call-Back Time. When an employee is contacted by the employer outside of their working hours on a work related issue and is required to give the employer direction or is required to perform work duties, they shall be paid the overtime rate. If the employee is required to report for duty, the employee shall be paid from the time they leave their home to report for duty until they arrive back upon proceeding directly from work. It is understood and agreed that the employee is guaranteed a minimum of two (2) hours pay at double time rates.
