Minimum and/or Maximum Rate of Interest. If the applicable Pricing Supplement specifies a Minimum Rate of Interest for any Interest Period, then, in the event that the Rate of Interest in respect of such Interest Period determined in accordance with the provisions of paragraph (ii) above is less than such Minimum Rate of Interest, the Rate of Interest for such Interest Period shall be such Minimum Rate of Interest. If the applicable Pricing Supplement specifies a Maximum Rate of Interest for any Interest Period, then, in the event that the Rate of Interest in respect of such Interest Period determined in accordance with the provisions of paragraph (ii) above is greater than such Maximum Rate of Interest, the Rate of Interest for such Interest Period shall be such Maximum Rate of Interest.
Minimum and/or Maximum Rate of Interest. If the applicable Pricing Supplement specifies a minimum Rate of Interest for any Interest Period, then in the event that the Rate of Interest for such period determined as aforesaid would be less than such minimum Rate of Interest, the Interest Rate for such period shall be such minimum Rate of Interest. If the applicable Pricing Supplement specifies a maximum Rate of Interest for any Interest Period, then in the event that the Rate of Interest for such period determined as aforesaid would be greater than such maximum Rate of Interest, the Interest Rate for such period shall be such maximum Rate of Interest.

If the applicable Final Terms specifies a Minimum Rate of Interest for any Interest Period, then the Rate of Interest for such Interest Period determined in accordance with the above provisions shall in no event be less than such Minimum Rate of Interest. In the event that the Interest Rate for any Interest Period is determined in accordance with the provisions set out in this Condition to be less than zero, the Minimum Interest Rate for such Interest Period shall be zero. If the applicable Final Terms specifies a Maximum Rate of Interest for any Interest Period, then the Interest Rate for such Interest Period determined in accordance with the above provisions shall in no event exceed such Maximum Rate of Interest.

Unless otherwise stated in the applicable Final Terms, the minimum Rate of Interest shall be deemed to be zero.
