MILITARY SERVICE LEAVE OF ABSENCE. ‌ A military leave of absence shall be granted to any employee who is mobilized to active duty. The employee shall continue to receive the same regular base salary plus any health insurance benefits received at the time of mobilization and other benefits the employee was receiving or accruing at that time, minus the amount of base pay received for military service for the duration of the employee’s employment contract with the District.

MILITARY SERVICE LEAVE OF ABSENCE. An employee who is drafted or is recalled to active military duty in a branch of the United States Armed Forces may be granted a leave for the period of active duty.
MILITARY SERVICE LEAVE OF ABSENCE. Leave of absence for, and reinstatement of, an employee during his period of military service with the Armed Forces of the United States shall be solely governed by applicable Federal law.
