Military Duty. Employees who participate in activities related to the reserve component of the Canadian Armed Forces may be granted leave of absence without pay for this purpose. Such time off will not be unreasonably withheld.
Military Duty. The Employer shall grant employees military duty leaves of absence in accordance with applicable law and the Employer’s policy for such leaves in existence at the time the leave is requested and as applicable to a majority of the Employer’s employees who are not in a bargaining unit.
Military Duty. The Company agrees to comply with all provisions of the Uniform Services Employment and Reemployment Recovery Rights (USERRA).
Military Duty. If National Guard or Reserve encampment or a period of active training due to emergency situations should occur during the school year, the teacher required to participate shall be granted a temporary leave of absence. The employee will receive regular salary for days spent in government service during a school year to the extent allowable by statute.
Military Duty. Pursuant to Minnesota State Law, any employee who is qualified under the statute is entitled to leave of absence with pay during a period not to exceed fifteen work days in any calendar year to fulfill service obligations.
Military Duty. All teachers who are members of a recognized reserve component of the Armed Forces of the United States or the National Guard shall be entitled a maximum of fifteen (15) days paid leave of absence from his/her regular teaching assignment based upon the teacher providing a copy of his/her military orders documenting the days of absence required.
Military Duty. 16.1 All employees covered by the terms of this Agreement who are ordered or required to perform active military duty shall be granted the necessary time off from work or granted a leave of absence during the period of such military duty in accordance with applicable Federal and State statutory authority. This statutory authority shall be dispositive as to whether or not said time off on leave of absence shall be paid or unpaid.
Military Duty. Nurses who are members of the military reserve or 22 National Guard who are ordered to either active duty or annual 23 training (but not weekend drills) will provide their clinical manager a 24 copy of their written orders within seven (7) days after they have 25 been received by the nurse if the nurse intends to use ETO time for 26 military leave.
Military Duty. Temporary leaves of absence involving recall to active duty of military reservists shall be considered by the Administration on an individual basis.
