Migration and Resettlement. At a national level, in 2021 the Government published a New Plan for Immigration (NPI) and introduced the Nationality and Xxxxxxx Xxxx into Parliament, which is currently in the final stages. At a more local level, the Home Office is currently establishing a processing site in Kent for illegal migrants to provide safe and secure accommodation whilst the necessary checks are carried out. Some migrants who arrive in the UK are ‘unaccompanied asylum seeking children’ (UASC) and as such are placed in the care of the local authority. In June 2021 Kent County Council (KCC) warned that Xxxx’s services for UASC were at breaking point and whilst some young people were transferred to other local authority areas, the majority remained in Kent. KCC has called on the Government to establish a longer term solution to manage this issue. The UK currently runs a number of resettlement schemes and in response to the Afghan refugee crisis, local authorities across Kent are providing support within their communities including Afghan resettlement schemes. Community sentiments are monitored although there is currently no suggestion of significant tensions. However going forward there is a possibility of both pro and anti- migrant related tensions occurring in Kent, which is consistent with the ongoing momentum of media coverage around ‘small boat’ migration. In July, the High Court ruled KCC must take “every possible step” to increase its capacity to accommodate and look after all unaccompanied asylum-seeking (UAS) children arriving in the county. As a result, KCC is required to identify accommodation which can be utilised to support UAS children at pace. There are currently a number of sites across Kent with more to be established over the coming year. It should be noted the High Court also found that the NTS and the management of the scheme is inadequate and for large periods unlawful; and the Home Office must resolve the issues and ensure that it works fairly and sustainably in the future. Related to Migration and Resettlement

  • Migration MCK shall provide all requisite assistance as is reasonably requested by NewCo in order to migrate the Services from MCK’s personnel, facilities and environment to NewCo’s (or its designee’s) personnel, facilities and environment, provided, that, other than as expressly set forth in the Service Schedule, NewCo shall be responsible for all third-party costs incurred by MCK and its Affiliates to migrate such Services and, provided further, that, NewCo shall be responsible for all costs associated with operational decisions made by NewCo for its set-up costs and costs to procure items (e.g., selection of Customer Relationship Management software). For the avoidance of doubt, NewCo will be responsible for migration to any new NewCo Data Center, including design, implementation and testing. MCK will provide reasonable support in such efforts. MCK will provide to NewCo an electronic copy in the then-current format of all data that is owned by NewCo (a) a written description of processes and procedures used by MCK in connection with the provision of Services to the Core MTS Business to the extent such descriptions exist, (b) a written description of all system documentation, architecture diagrams and business process diagrams for the systems, processes and controls used in the Core MTS Business to the extent such descriptions exist and (c) written training and onboarding materials used in the Core MTS Business to the extent such materials exist. In addition, MCK will, upon NewCo’s reasonable request, make available knowledgeable MCK personnel for knowledge transfer and discussion at a mutually agreed upon time with respect to the Services and the processes, procedures and systems used in the provision of the Services. The parties will meet in person to establish, within two (2) weeks following the Closing Date, a planning process for the migration of the Services from MCK’s personnel, facilities and environment to NewCo’s (or its designee’s) personnel, facilities and environment. During such meetings, the parties will identify workstreams and workstream leaders, staff project teams for each workstream, identify roles and responsibilities for project team members and create a project charter that will serve collectively as the basis for developing more detailed timelines and specific deliverables for each of the workstreams. At a minimum, there will be a workstream for each functional area that is the subject of Schedules. Each workstream will report to the Project Managers. The parties will meet (in person or by telephone) as often as is reasonably necessary to develop such detailed timelines and specific deliverables for each workstream.

  • Land Acquisition and Resettlement 8. The Borrower shall cause NHA to ensure that all land acquisition and resettlement proceed in accordance with applicable laws, and ADB’s Policy on Involuntary Resettlement, as well as in accordance with the framework set out in the agreed upon resettlement plan.

  • Cessation and Resumption of Work 24.15.1 At the time employees cease work due to inclement weather the employer or the employers representative on site and the employee’s representative shall agree and note the time of cessation of work.

  • Sanitation and Servicing Purchaser shall take all reasonable precautions to prevent pollution of air, soil, and water by Purchaser’s Operations. If facilities for employees are established on Sale Area, they shall be operated in a sanitary manner. In the event that Purchaser’s Operations or servicing of equipment result in pollution to soil or water, Purchaser shall conduct cleanup and restoration of the polluted site to the satisfaction of Forest Service. Purchaser shall maintain all equipment operating on Sale Area in good repair and free of abnormal leakage of lubricants, fuel, coolants, and hydraulic fluid. Purchaser shall not service tractors, trucks, or other equipment on National Forest lands where servicing is likely to result in pollution to soil or water. Purchaser shall furnish oil- absorbing mats for use under all stationary equipment or equipment being serviced to prevent leaking or spilled petroleum-based products from contaminating soil and water resources. Purchaser shall remove from National Forest lands all contaminated soil, vegetation, debris, vehicle oil filters (drained of free-flowing oil), batteries, oily rags, and waste oil resulting from use, servicing, repair, or abandonment of equipment.

  • NON-SEXIST ENVIRONMENT 1. A non-sexist environment is defined as that in which there is no discrimination against females or males by portraying them in gender stereotyped roles or by omitting their contributions.

  • Operating Environment Subscriber is solely responsible for acquiring, installing, operating and maintaining the hardware, software and Internet Browser environment necessary to access the Site and use the Services. Information on operating environment requirements can be located on the Site.

  • STIPULATION AND AGREEMENT OF SETTLEMENT This Stipulation and Agreement of Settlement, dated as of July 6, 2018 (the “Stipulation”) is entered into between (a) Lead Plaintiff Xxxxxxxxxxx Xxxxxxx (“Lead Plaintiff”) and Plaintiff Xxxxxxx Xxxxx (collectively, “Plaintiffs”), on behalf of themselves and the Settlement Class (defined below); and (b) defendant Endurance International Group Holdings, Inc.   • Lunch and Rest Breaks (a) Normally, a non-paid lunch break of either one half (½) hour or one (1) hours duration will be taken halfway through each shift. However, if job conditions require, the lunch break may be moved up to one (1) hour in either direction.

  • Investigations and Restoration The NTO shall promptly conduct investigations of equipment malfunctions and failures and forced transmission outages in a manner consistent with applicable FERC, PSC, NRC, NERC, NPCC and NYSRC rules, principles, guidelines, standards and requirements, ISO Procedures and Good Utility Practice. The NTO shall supply the results of such investigations to the NYSRC, the ISO, and, pursuant to Section 3.5.3 of the ISO Services Tariff, the other Transmission Owners. Following a total or partial system interruption, restoration shall be coordinated between the ISO control center and local control centers. The local control centers shall have the authority, in coordination with the ISO, to restore the system and to re-establish service if doing so would minimize the period of service interruption. The NTO shall determine the level of resources to be applied to restore facilities to service following a failure, malfunction, or forced transmission outage.

  • Meal and Rest Breaks (a) The Employer shall make every reasonable effort to organize the work assignment on a shift in such a way as to allow each Nurse to have designated meal and rest break(s) at regular intervals during the shifts.
