Common use of Method of Service Clause in Contracts

Method of Service. A notice or other communication given under this Agreement by any Party to the other Party shall be in writing (which shall include e-mail), signed in manuscript by or on behalf of the Party giving it (which includes a faxed or scanned manuscript signature or in the case of e-mail, that the message was sent from an e-mail address of the Party giving it (and which sender's e-mail address is one to which notices and other communications may also be validly delivered to that Party under this Clause 16.1 (Method of Service), in the English language and may be either: delivered personally by hand; or if sent from within the same jurisdiction in which the recipient's address is located, then sent by courier (or, if sent from outside the jurisdiction in which the recipient's address is located, then sent by international courier); or sent by facsimile; or sent by e-mail, in each case addressed to each Party in accordance with the notice details contained in the Key Information Table.
