Merit Award. The department may make awards to current or retired State employees who:
Merit Award. Where a Bursar is awarded a merit award, such award shall, if awarded prior to the payment of the Bursary, be utilised by the Institution to settle the balance in the Bursars account. Where the award is made after the Bursary has been paid, and if there is a credit balance in the Bursar’s account and provided that credit balance is as a result of the Merit award and not the Bursary, then that credit balance, may be dealt with by the Institution as it deems appropriate.
Merit Award. Above normal performance in at least two (2) of the three (3) areas: teaching, research/creative activity, or public service; or outstanding performance or special recognition in at least one (1) of these areas, and normal performance in the remaining area or areas of assigned duties.
Merit Award. You may receive that award if it is less than the program provider's Cost of Attendance. If the merit award is greater than the program provider's Cost of Attendance, the merit award will be adjusted.
Merit Award. Each year, there will be a performance pay allotment to be distributed based upon the criteria set forth in Appendix D. For the 2015-2016 school year, the minimum allotment will be $45,000. Allotments for the 2016-2017, 2017-2018, and 2018-2019 school years will be determined during the salary reopener negotiations. First year teachers are not eligible to receive a merit award.

Merit Award. 30.8.1 A Merit Award may be awarded for outstanding or superior performance of a Member's responsibilities including: teaching, research or other scholarly activities, or academic, professional or University community service. The Xxxx or University Librarian, as appropriate, shall assess each Member of the academic unit for a Merit Award. The assessment of a Member’s performance shall be based on accomplishments set out in the Member’s Annual Activities Report for the current year and previous two years.
