Common use of Merchant or Payee Limitation Clause in Contracts

Merchant or Payee Limitation. We reserve the right to refuse to pay any Payee whom you may designate for a payment. We will notify you promptly if we decide to refuse to pay a Payee designated by you. This notification is not required if you attempt to pay tax or court related payments or payments to Payees located outside the United States, each of which is prohibited under this Agreement.
