Mental Health Professional Sample Clauses

Mental Health Professional. This is a psychiatrist, psychologist, or mental health therapist licensed for independent practice, lawfully performing a mental or chemical health service in accordance with governmental licensing privileges and limitations, who renders mental or chemical health services to our members as covered in this Contract. For inpatient services, these mental health professionals must be working under the order of a physician.

Mental Health Professional. Qualified mental health professionals who meet the educational and licensure/certification criteria specified by their respective professional disciplines, such as psychiatric nursing, psychiatry, psychology, and social work as defined in Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Corrections Operating Procedure #914.01 (§IV(G)) See Exhibit 1 - COP #914.01:
Mental Health Professional. “MHP”): A mental health professional is: a physician who is licensed to practice medicine and is board-certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (“ABPN”) or the American Osteopathic Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (“AOBPN”), or has completed four (4) years of an accredited post-graduate training program in psychiatry; a psychologist with a Ph.D/ Psy.D and licensed as a clinical psychologist; a licensed psychiatric nurse (i.e., a nurse licensed as an R.N. and certified in psychiatric-mental health); a licensed clinical social worker; or an individual licensed to provide mental health services with a Ph.D/Psy.D or Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or similar degree program. “Licensed” means currently licensed by the State of Illinois.

  • Mental Health The parties recognize the importance of supporting and promoting a psychologically healthy workplace and as such will adhere to all applicable statutes, policy, guidelines and regulations pertaining to the promotion of mental health.

  • Mental Health Services This agreement covers medically necessary services for the treatment of mental health disorders in a general or specialty hospital or outpatient facilities that are: • reviewed and approved by us; and • licensed under the laws of the State of Rhode Island or by the state in which the facility is located as a general or specialty hospital or outpatient facility. We review network and non-network programs, hospitals and inpatient facilities, and the specific services provided to decide whether a preauthorization, hospital or inpatient facility, or specific services rendered meets our program requirements, content and criteria. If our program content and criteria are not met, the services are not covered under this agreement. Our program content and criteria are defined below.

  • Health Promotion Effective January 1, 2014, the Employer shall provide a voluntary employee incentive program that offers taxable cash payments not to exceed $300 per employee per calendar year to employees who participate in health promotion activities and programs offered by the Employer. The Employer shall establish the specifics of the programs through the Health Benefit Committee. This provision shall expire on June 30, 2015 unless mutually agreed otherwise by the parties. All approved vendors contracted with the health plan administrator shall be permitted to provide services on state premises for employees.

  • Medical There shall be an open enrollment period for medical coverage in each year of this Agreement. An employee may elect no medical coverage during any open enrollment period. An employee who has elected no medical coverage may elect medical coverage during an open enrollment period. No pre-existing condition limitations will apply.

  • Training and Professional Development C. Maintain written program procedures covering these six (6) core activities. All procedures shall be consistent with the requirements of this Contract.

  • MEDICALLY FRAGILE STUDENTS 1. If a teacher will be providing instructional or other services to a medically fragile student, the teacher or another adult who will be present when the instruction or other services are being provided will be advised of the steps to be taken in the event an emergency arises relating to the student's medical condition.

  • Continuing Professional Development 30.1.7 If, during the life of the Agreement, Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is introduced for plumbers, all time spent in complying with the CPD obligations will be the responsibility of each plumber.

  • EMPLOYEE HEALTH CARE 233. Pursuant to the Charter, the City contributes whatever rate is applicable per month directly into the City Health Service System for each employee who is a member of the Health Service System. Subsequent City contributions will be set pursuant to the Charter.
