Membership Service. The SR is a resource person and advisor for members with work-related problems. In this regard, the SR shall a) provide assistance with grievances; b) provide advice and/or referral for unemployment insurance problems, immigration, health and other legal matters; and c) advise members as to their rights and obligations under the Collective Agreement, the CUPE Constitution and Local By-laws.

Membership Service. The LRC shall act as a general resource person and advisor to members with work-related concerns and disputes. In this context, the LRC shall provide members with general advice as to their rights and obligations under the Collective Agreement between the Employer and the University of Guelph , and provide referrals to government departments or other agencies (e.g. Employment Insurance, Ministry of Health). The LRC will, at the request of the Supervisor, provide training or education to members of the Employer.

  • Membership Dues Association membership dues, as explicitly approved by the Trustees;

  • Membership The Committee shall include nine (9) members - five (5) representatives from CUPE/SCFP and four (4) representatives from the CTA. Up to two (2) advisors from the Ministry of Education shall act in a resource capacity to the committee. If the employee is the subject of investigation, the employee will also be informed of the specifics of each complaint or allegation against him/her.

  • Unit Members Whenever used in this Agreement, the term “Employee” shall mean all classroom teachers (pre- K-12), counselors, librarians (and/or their successor job title and/or classification), psychologists, social workers, home and hospital teachers, department heads, master teachers, academic coaches, instructional associates, instructional support teachers, educational associates, speech/language speech-language pathologists, audiologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, facilitators, consulting teachers, IEP Team Associates, pupil personnel worker, teacher – mentor, teacher – staff developer, and art, music and physical education resource teachers.

Pursuant to such authorization, the District 24 shall deduct one-tenth (1/10) of such dues from the regular salary warrant of the unit 26 authorization after the commencement of the school year shall have deducted one- 28 periods.

  • Membership Term Once the Program Membership Fee (if applicable) and any enrollment fee (if applicable) is paid, a Member shall be entitled to all Services for the Membership Term the Member selects at the time of enrollment commencing on the date of AAA’s receipt of the enrollment. Members may select from Membership Terms offered at the time of enrollment. Membership term shall be monthly unless otherwise selected at the time of enrollment.
